Our beginnings

B&B Biltong started the way all good things do — with a simple idea, a bit of curiosity, and two brothers‑in‑law determined to make biltong the way it should be made. What began as weekend experiments in a Reading kitchen quickly turned into a full‑blown obsession: perfecting the spice blend, refining the drying process, and chasing that unmistakable South African flavour.

Batch after batch, friends wanted more. Teammates wanted more. Word spread faster than we expected, and before long, our hobby had become something bigger — a craft, a passion, and eventually a business built on doing things properly.

Today, every pack of B&B Biltong is still made with that same hands‑on approach: small batches, carefully selected cuts, and flavours developed through graft, pride, and a lot of taste‑testing. We’re proud to bring authentic, handcrafted biltong to Reading and beyond — made with heart, heritage, and a commitment to quality you can taste in every bite.
